Congratulations to Denise and Mark and all of the volunteers! There appear to have been some issues, but everything seems to be now working.
As predicted, the first batch of seed accounts have sold out. At $200 per account, that is quite a bit of money indeed! The next few days should be some exciting ones for Dreamwidth, as new accounts are made and new users settle in.
I'm going to get a paid account, but I have to get some things sorted out on my end first.
I think I'll make a post for giving away the invite codes on my LJ sometime after they send the validated openID accounts invite codes.
