Well, I do think the new kids will likely be every bit as annoying as people worry. Just the lawn that I'm going to claim and want them to keep off of is not all of Dreamwidth. I only get to claim happiness on my reading circle. If someone else wants to subscribe or be obnoxious elsewhere - that's not my problem. If I wanted the whole of Dreamwidth to be my happy place, then I'd doom it.
