Saturday, October 10th, 2009 12:50 am1. Huh, so you can have what on LJ are friends list filters on facebook. And Twitter will soon have the same feature. I wonder if Posterous and Tumblr will eventually follow?
This reminds me of the people in the LJ Suggestions comm who immediately say that something is bad merely because it is Facebook or Twitter or whatever; tho, is perhaps the greater "threat" that eventually they will adopt a lot of LJ's features?
2. Also, WP.com now allows you to have a twitter account update whenever you post to your Wordpress blog. This is sort of like Posterous's insane crossposting/pinging feature. Quite useful. I'm thinking of mirroring an LJ I have to WP.com (because WP.com will be read by more people, and can more easily be anonymously commented on), and it's nice to think it'll automatically post to Twitter.
