Future of my LJ...
Monday, May 11th, 2009 11:27 amWhat to do about the LJ (eventually)?
1) Delete LJ (probably won't do this)
2) Delete all entries in LJ after backing it up
3) Friends-lock entire LJ (need to get paid account for this)
4) Friends-lock past entries, leave current ones open
5) Backup LJ at WP.com so I can search it. (put it private so people won't complain about comment republishing)

Date: 2009-05-14 07:32 pm (UTC)As for me, I imported all of my old entries to DW and made my old LJ entries private. (I almost never post anything locked, and my flist has always had people from rather different circles on it, so I'm not very sympathetic to people worrying about their comments.) Going forward, I'm going to crosspost, but I'll only allow comments at DW. If people want to link to my old posts, they can use the unlocked DW versions.
