Penzu, readings

charmianWeird how Penzu seems to be getting so much attention when their features appear rather skimpy: is it the design that makes the difference? How they present themselves? With one of their paid features being LJ imports, it seems that they're aiming for the LJ market. The 'journaling'/private blogging niche does seem to be less full of competitors than the microblogging (Tumblr, Posterous) niche.
In other news, re: The new Saiunkoku book. Seriously, by this point in time, I'm half-minded to just say "I'll read it when the entire series is done." (especially w/ the increased cost of shipping) Which will hopefully be within the next two books. This is why I prefer finished series. :P
