I know about as many people online who are not indie fans (not to mention, this attitude also applies to punks, goths, and pretty much any other serious "genre" music fans) as I know who are complete unfamiliar with yaoi/slash, i.e. not many. XD Puu and I are unused to having to explain this stuff!
