Three or so days until open beta

charmianWhoa, only three-ish more days until Open Beta.
I'm glad to see that the folks in charge are screening "first!" and other non-contributory comments in the official posts.
Some discussion going on in the KF post on dreamwidth_meta... However, personally I think the scenarios sketched out in the comments there are fairly unlikely to happen in the majority of comms. And a lot of the people who use KFs might be lurkers anyway.
Curious how the feed claiming and openID-to-account conversion processes will work (this is going to happen sometime after open beta). It's something which has never been implemented on LJ. I'm not sure whether I will bother to link my openID to this account, though, but in the future I may import feeds from my other blog, and there feed claiming might come in handy.
