Well, that makes sense, because it seems more than disagreement with the features in and of themselves, it's borne out of a sense of a lack of control (IIRC this is like Az's essay in progress about Old School and New School users), which they have more of here. And at IJ, in general there are never any new features anyway (IIRC), so I suppose that suits them as well.
